According to market sources, rebar prices in the local Turkish spot market have moved downwards since December 25, while demand is still slack. Following the US Federal Reserve's decision to keep its interest rates unchanged, the Turkish lira has strengthened slightly against the US dollar, leading Turkish market players to reduce their rebar prices.
