Demand in the local Turkish rebar market has remained weak since August 11, while domestic rebar prices in Turkey have mostly fallen further in this period. Market sources state that buyers are still generally postponing their rebar purchases and are concluding new deals only in line with their needs, while political tension in Turkey has continued to negatively affect the local rebar market.
