SteelOrbis has been informed that local prices for medium size rebar in the Greek domestic market are currently at the level of €680/mt ($998/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis with 90-day deferred payment, excluding VAT.

The price range in question represents a €50-70/mt decline compared to two weeks ago. The demand level in the local market is currently low. However, producers in this market are keeping their rebar prices at high levels in order to prevent a further market decline.

€1 = US$1,467/mt
