In the local Italian market, domestic producers' drawing quality wire rod prices have increased by €60-70/mt ($58-79/mt) during the past month, pushed up by rising scrap prices. As a result, producers' prices are currently in the range of €420-430/mt ($475-486/mt) for delivery to customer, while demand in the local market is at medium-to-low levels.

On the export side, there is no activity because no requirements have been heard from Algerian buyers and no offers have been sent to them.
