Local and export offers in Spanish wire rod market

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Spanish mesh quality and drawing quality wire rod export offers have increased by €5/mt ($7/mt) since last week to €450-455/mt ($621-628/mt) FOB and €465-470/mt ($642-649/mt) FOB respectively.

Meanwhile, local wire rod prices in Spain have also increased by €5/mt ($7/mt) over the past week to €460-465/mt ($635-642/mt) delivered, excluding 21 percent VAT.
