Local and export offers in Spanish wire rod market

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that local wire rod prices in Spain have softened by €5/mt ($7/mt) over the past week to €455-460/mt ($632-639/mt) delivered, excluding 21 percent VAT.
 
Meanwhile, Spanish mesh quality and drawing quality wire rod export offers have decreased by the same margin since last week to €445-460/mt ($619-639/mt) FOB and €460-470/mt ($639-653/mt) FOB respectively.
