SteelOrbis has been learned from market sources that Turkish rebar offers to the Lebanese market have remained unchanged in the past two weeks and are still standing at $595-605/mt FOB. Market players state that Lebanese traders are not showing much interest in Turkish rebar offers at this price range and that instead they seek only to fill holes in their inventory with low volume transactions for prompt shipment.

On the other hand, ex-China rebar offers to Lebanon are at $580/mt CFR and the arrival of many larger volume cargos are awaited by Lebanese buyers, as a result of previous transactions.
