SteelOrbis has heard that rebar ex-Latvia has been booked in Germany at around Euro 450/mt DAF on actual weight basis and in Russia at around Euro 460/mt DAF on actual weight basis. Latvian producers are focused on Europe's strongest market Germany due to the weakness in Southern Europe and on Russia, despite a slight decrease in region's domestic prices. Some sales to Russia were even concluded above Euro 460/mt DAF.
