According to market sources, in Italy domestic producers' local prices for 12-28 mm rebar are currently at €345-355/mt ($366-376/mt) ex-works, €10/mt ($11/mt) higher on the lower end compared to last week. Local producers are maintaining a firm stance on their prices despite the low demand in the market.

As for the export market, this week Italian producers' offers are at €315/mt ($334/mt) FOB (or €345/mt ($366/mt) CFR Algeria). Sources have said that that demand in Algeria is decent, though supply is scarce because Italian producers are generally "fully booked" until the end of the current year.
