Latest situation in Taiwanese billet market

Market sources state that domestic billet prices for 5SP grade in Taiwan are currently at NTD 12,000-12,200/mt ($398-405/mt) ex-works, while Taiwanese billet export offers for the same grade are now at $415-420/mt FOB.
 
Meanwhile, no new Chinese billet offers to Taiwan has been heard so far this week as FOB-based Chinese offers are still considered to be at very high levels.
