Latest situation in Saudi rebar market

Market sources confirm that rebar retail prices in the local Saudi Arabian market are now standing at SAR 2,400-2,600/mt ($640-693/mt) ex-warehouse, indicating a decline of SAR 200/mt ($53/mt) over the past month.
 
In the meantime, some ex-Turkey rebar deals have been concluded in the country over the past week in the price range of $565-575/mt FOB, and offers at these levels from Turkey are still valid in the Saudi market.
