According to market sources, transaction activity is on the low side in the local Turkish rebar market, contrary to the situation in the export markets. Rebar prices in the local market have increased compared to the beginning of the current week.
Meanwhile, it is heard that most producers' rebar offers are in the range of $1,093-1,110/mt ex-works, excluding VAT, while they have halted their production or cut their production capacity utilization rates.
