During the past week, demand in the local Iranian
rebar market has remained at low levels. Although Iranian steel producers had sought to increase their domestic
rebar prices, they have been forced to keep their offers unchanged at $420-448/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT, due to the weak demand conditions.
