SteelOrbis has been informed that ex-Italy medium size rebar is being offered to Algeria in a price range of €740-760/mt CFR Algeria on actual weight basis for August/September shipment.
In Italy, where end-user demand is registering low levels as in all other southern European countries, producers are giving rebar export offers to Algeria at the prices in question; however, it is also heard that the traders in the local Algerian market have stocks at lower levels than these prices.
