Italian rebar export offers on the rise

As predicted in our last report, Italian rebar producers have raised their export offers, increasing them by €15/mt week on week to €355-360/mt ($387-392/mt) FOB. Market sources state that this range is only a reference price range because no order can be booked at present since producers' order books are currently full.

In the meantime, demand in the local Italian rebar market has remained weak with Italian producers pushing for a €10/mt increase compared to last week's price, but without receiving any positive response from customers.
