SteelOrbis has learned that the Italian producers are offering merchant bars sized below 140 mm for export at the price level of €870-880/mt ($1,348-1,364/mt) delivered to customers in the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Poland for July shipment and on actual weight basis.
Despite the fact that the demand level coming from countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia for Italian origin imported merchant bars has been maintaining its strength, the continuously increasing prices have been creating difficulties for buyers in these markets.
