Iskenderun-based Turkish mill raises its wire rod price

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, November 2, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 16,900/mt ($596/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, rising by TRY 350/mt ($12/mt) compared to the previous day, against the backdrop of ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier scrap prices. In addition, the mill has closed its rebar sales since the beginning of this week. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.35 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate. 

All in all, the mill has raised its wire rod prices by TRY 550/mt ($15/mt), compared to Wednesday, October 25. 

$1 = TRY 28.35
