SteelOrbis has been informed that, today November 8, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 17,050/mt ($598/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, remaining unchanged in the local currency, with minor changes on US dollar basis, compared to the previous day, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations. In addition, the mill has raised its rebar price by TRY 200/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 20,200/mt ($590/mt) ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.52 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
