Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issues its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that earlier today, November 7, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 16,900/mt ($593/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, remaining unchanged in the local currency, while falling by $3/mt on US dollar basis, compared to Thursday, November 2, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations. In addition, the mill has opened its rebar sales at TRY 20,000/mt ($585/mt) ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.48 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.

Subsequently, in the late afternoon the producer raised its wire rod price by TRY 150/mt ($6/mt) to TRY 17,050/mt ($599/mt) ex-works.
