Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issues its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, August 10, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 15,300/mt ($566/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and in order to generate sales. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,000/mt ($555/mt) ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 27.04 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate. The producer’s wire rod and rebar prices have fallen by TRY 200/mt ($9/mt) and remained unchanged in the local currency, respectively, with just minor changes on US dollar basis, compared to Thursday, July 27.
