SteelOrbis has been informed that today, July 11, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 15,900/mt ($609/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT, amid the currency fluctuations, recent VAT increase and sluggish demand. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,300/mt ($584/mt) ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 26,10 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate. The producer's longs price remained unchanged over the day.
