Iskenderun-based Turkish mill increases its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, September 28, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has raised its official mesh grade wire rod price by TRY 150/mt, while decreasing it by $3/mt on US dollar basis, to TRY 15,900/mt ($580/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, as compared to Tuesday, September 19, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 19,350/mt ($588/mt), rising by TRY 550/mt ($8/mt) over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 27.42 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.

The mill’s rebar and wire rod prices indicate TRY 350/mt and TRY 150/mt increases respectively compared to the previous day.
