Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts its rebar price further

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, October 25, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has kept its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 16,350/mt ($581/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, stable in the local currency, while down by just $1/mt on US dollar basis, compared to the previous day, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,700/mt ($554/mt), down by TRY 100/mt ($4/mt) over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.12 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
