Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts its longs prices as week ends

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, September 8, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 15,600/mt ($581/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT. This wire rod price has fallen by TRY 200/mt ($9/mt) compared to Monday, September 4, amid ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,450/mt ($573/mt), falling by TRY 200/mt ($7/mt) over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 26.85 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.

The mill’s wire rod and rebar prices were at TRY 15,800/mt ($588/mt) ex-works and TRY 18,550/mt ($576/mt) ex-works respectively, yesterday, with a $1 = TRY 26.85 exchange rate.
