Isdemir increases local wire rod prices
Following a price list issued in the morning, Isdemir released a second price list later on Friday. This most recent price list indicates that the Turkish steelmaker has decided to raise its wire rod prices for the below specified qualities by $10 per ton. New price levels are as follows:Drawing quality wire rods: SAE 1006: 5.5 – 6.5 mm : $404/mt + VAT 7.0 – 16 mm : $401/mt + VAT SAE 1008: 5.5 – 6.5 mm : $398/mt + VAT 7.0 – 16 mm : $396/mt + VAT Mesh making quality wire rod: SAE 1010-1018: 5.5 – 6.5 mm : $397/mt + VAT 7.0 – 16 mm : $395/mt + VAT
