After Iraq outlined its budget for 2013 last week, rebar market prices in Zakho in northern Iraq had tested the price level of $730/mt ex-warehouse and rebar offer prices from Turkey’s Iskenderun region to Iraq had increased. While no steep changes have been seen in the Iraqi rebar market in the past three weeks, rebar export offers from Iskenderun to Iraq are currently standing at $640/mt ex-works, while domestic rebar spot prices in Zakho are at $725/mt ex-warehouse.
