Import wire rod offers to Pakistan

In the Pakistani long steel market, Chinese wire rod offers, which have generally been higher as compared to other import offers for quite some time, have lately indicated a further strengthening. SteelOrbis has learned that ex-China boron-added mesh quality wire rod offers to Pakistan are standing at $740-745/mt CFR Karachi, on actual weight basis and for May shipments.
 
On the other hand, SteelOrbis has further learned that ex-CIS low carbon wire rod offers to Pakistan for late May shipments are priced slightly higher as compared to the abovementioned price range.
