SteelOrbis has been informed that the imported rebar price in the local UAE market currently stands at AED 1,800-2,050/mt ($490-558/mt) delivered to site, on theoretical weight basis, with three-to-four month deferred payment.
The prices for rebar in the local UAE market have been hovering at the range of AED 1,800-2,100/mt ($490-572/mt) for the last three weeks. While the price level of AED 2,100/mt is being mentioned for purchases with small tonnages (50 mt and below), the price level is declining for purchases with large tonnages.
