Financial difficulties curb Iran’s billet imports from Turkey

Turkish steel mills' billet offers to the Iranian domestic market, where demand for ex-Turkey billet has remained on the strong side, are standing at $610/mt ex-works. However, as sources tell SteelOrbis, Iranian market players have been finding it difficult to conclude new transactions due to liquidity shortages, even though they are in need of billet.
