Turkish mills are offering rebars to Iraq from the Iskenderun region at the levels of $470-480/mt ex-works. However, it seems that demand from Iraq for Turkish rebar has this week softened compared to recent weeks. Also, due to the increasing freight rates in the region and the fact that the buyers pay the transportation costs in question, buyers have been pushing the rebar producers to reduce their price levels.
