According to market sources, Spanish rebar export offers have remained unchanged in the range of €420-425/mt ($445-451/mt) FOB week on week, while Spanish suppliers are experiencing difficulties due to the low interest shown by foreign buyers.

Meanwhile, Italian rebar export offers for May shipment have increased by €5/mt ($5.3/mt) compared to offer levels for April shipment to €420-425/mt ($445-451/mt) FOB. Although demand for Italian rebar is weaker than last week after the sales which were concluded for large volumes, Italian suppliers are maintaining a strong stance on their offer prices.
