Egypt's local and export rebar prices

Price level of rebars in the local Egyptian market is at $500/mt ex-works on actual basis, excluding VAT, while rebar offers for export are at $490-500/mt FOB on actual weight basis. Domestic rebar prices fell $20 per metric ton last week. Egyptian domestic and export rebar prices may indicate a rise in the coming days with the slight movement in scrap prices.
