SteelOrbis has learned that domestic prices of drawing quality wire rod in Italy are currently at €370/mt ($411/mt) delivered to the customer, with a €5-10/mt increase compared to the price levels recorded three weeks ago.

It is believed that despite the weakness of demand, domestic wire rod prices in the country may move up again in the coming weeks due to the hikes seen in scrap quotations.
