Since July 11, demand in the local Turkish rebar market has remained at low levels despite a slight improvement, while prices have started to move up in most regions. Turkish steel producers have raised their rebar offers during the past three days due to the increases seen in global billet quotations. Turkish traders have also followed the example of the steel mills, increasing their rebar quotations.
