It is observed that, with Turkish lira depreciating against the US dollar on the first day of the week, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have mostly moved up by TRY 10/mt compared to price levels recorded on September 14, despite the weakness of demand and the declines recorded in import scrap quotations in Turkey. However, in Turkey’s Izmir region, prices have remained stable since September 14.
