Following the decreases in import scrap prices in deals heard at the weekend, buyers in the local Turkish rebar market have postponed their purchases as they expect a further decline in rebar prices, causing demand to remain weak.
Meanwhile, local rebar producers in Turkey have revised their domestic quotations downwards. As a result, traders in the local Turkish rebar market have reduced their domestic rebar prices by TRY 20-50/mt compared to price levels recorded on March 23.
