Domestic rebar price in Spain decreases

Spanish producers reduced their AENOR-certified rebar base prices by Euro 20/mt at the end of last week. The new prices on 60-day deferred payment basis are at the following levels:

Meanwhile, SteelOrbis has heard that the latest imported rebar price level in the Spanish market is at Euro 460-485/mt free on truck. The average rebar price level is at around Euro 475/mt. The market is not as strong as in September. Domestic trading firms are having difficulty in selling high tonnages.
