In the local Spanish market, medium sized rebar offers are currently standing in the range of about €380-405/mt ($543-578/mt) delivered to customer, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis and for 15-30 day deferred payments. Spanish producers raised their official price levels to €405/mt ($578/mt) delivered to customer, applying an increase of €25/mt ($36/mt) to their base prices; however, no purchase has yet been made at this price level. The latest bookings have been concluded at €380/mt ($543/mt) delivered to customer.

On the export side, although offers given to Algeria show variation, mainstream rebar export offers given from Spain to Algeria are at the levels of €345-350/mt ($493-514/mt) CFR for July shipments. However, Algeria has halted its purchases for now and thus offers levels to this market do not hold great importance at the moment.
