SteelOrbis has been informed that an ex-Turkey deal has been concluded in Lebanon for 8 mm rebar at $465/mt CFR. Market sources report that Lebanese buyers have concluded several ex-Turkey deals at the level of $465/mt, though for small tonnages in line with their needs.

On the other hand, Chinese rebar offers to Lebanon are currently in the range of $365-375/mt CFR. Market sources report that several Chinese rebar cargos ordered previously will soon arrive in the Lebanese market.
