According to market sources, domestic producers' prices on Turkish lira basis in the local Turkish structural steel market have been revised downwards by TRY 20-40/mt on average during the past week against the backdrop of the gradual strengthening of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Although local demand has been negatively impacted by Ramadan and continuing political uncertainty in Turkey, purchasing activity has been at medium levels over the past week on the back of ongoing projects.
