CSC raises its round bar and wire rod prices

Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that it has increased its round bar and wire rod prices by NTD 700/mt ($24/mt) for April and May shipments. The new prices are at the following levels:

Low carbon WR 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 23,997-23,900/mt ($801-804/mt)

Medium/high carbon WR 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 23,720-23,850/mt ($798-802/mt)

Alloyed wire rod 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 24,397-25,410/mt ($821-855/mt)

CHQ wire rod 5.5-32.0 mm

NTD 24,097-24,250/mt ($801-816/mt)


 
The above prices are ex-works, on actual weight basis, and exclusive of VAT.
