CSC raises domestic longs prices for September

China Steel Corporation (CSC), the only integrated steel mill in Taiwan, has announced its domestic longs prices for September shipment. The new prices are at the following levels:

Round bar 10-36 mm

NTD 20,810-22,250/mt ($633-677/mt)

Low carbon WR 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 20,897-21,000/mt ($636-639/mt)

Medium/high carbon WR 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 20,820-20,950/mt ($634-638/mt)

Alloyed wire rod 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 21,497-21,600/mt ($654-657/mt)

CHQ wire rod 5.5-32.0 mm

NTD 21,197-21,350/mt ($645-650/mt)

The prices of all long products have increased by NTD 1,200/mt ($37/mt) on average as compared to ex-works prices for July/August shipments.
