According to market sources, billet prices in the CIS have risen by $5/mt over the past week since Ukraine's mills have cut their output as their raw material supplies have declined following damage caused to local transport and electricity infrastructure by heavy artillery in the current conflict.  CIS billet export offers to Southeast Asia are now standing in the range of $520-530/mt CFR for shipment in October.
