Chinese rebar and wire rod export offers move sideways

stable trend. At present, boron-added rebar offers to Southeast Asia given by Chinese suppliers are at $255-265/mt FOB, while boron-added wire rod offers from Chinese suppliers to the same destination are at $265-275/mt FOB.
 
With the approach of the Chinese New Year holiday (February 8-14), Chinese steelmakers and traders have kept their export prices stable. It is expected that rebar and wire rod export offer prices from China will continue their stable trend in the remaining days ahead of the holiday, while it is thought that rebar and wire rod export offer prices from China will likely edge up after the holiday as most participants are bullish on the future prospects for the market.
