Turkish traders have increased their domestic rebar prices by TRY 15-50/mt compared to the price levels recorded on April 24 amid the tightness of supply and the higher prices seen in this week's import scrap deals.
Meanwhile, SteelOrbis has been informed that buyers' demand for domestic rebar has increased slightly as they want to take the advantage of the increased strength of the Turkish lira against the US dollar following a long period when the exchange rate was characterized by sharp fluctuations.
