Brazilian wire rod export price sustained for current contracts

A source from a Brazilian exporter told SteelOrbis that the company will maintain wire rod export prices for all its current contracts.
A 10 percent increase, originally scheduled for March 1, was postponed to April; however, exporters decided that the price will be maintained for current contracts.
Such prices are estimated now at $605/mt for the drawing grade product and $587/mt for the mesh grade product, FOB conditions.
