The latest prices of billet for rebar production in the local Italian market are currently at €800/mt ($1,239/mt) ex-works on two to three month open account basis, excluding VAT.
It is heard that the buyers have been trying to push down the abovementioned price level of domestic production billets in the local Italian market.
