Billet price in Turkish local market

The price level of St 37 billet in Turkey's Marmara and Izmir regions is at $570-580/mt ex-works, excluding VAT.

The fact that Isdemir and Kardemir's production is full up to the end of May, combined with the strength of the domestic billet market, has reduced the billet supply for export. Furthermore, the higher strength in the wire rod market compared to January and February is causing a reduction in producers' billet allocations for export.
