Billet and rebar prices keep sliding down in Taiwan – week 26

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have decreased by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 17,500-17,600/mt ($584-587/mt) ex-works, for middle and end of July shipments.

In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have declined by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
