Billet and rebar prices in Taiwan - week 7

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 mm have declined by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) over the past week to NTD 12,400-12,700/mt ($393-402/mt) ex-works, for mid-March shipments.

In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 200-300/mt ($6-10/mt) in the same period and are now at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT, are ex-warehouse and are also for mid-March shipments.
